School/MHS

This is the school which I attended in Melbourne from 2003-2006, year 9 to year 12. You can find my blog of various accounts there from year 11 here.

Uni

This can refer to either the university I attended for the first year out of high school, or the second which I now attend after changing my course. The first was Monash, where I did a year of Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering/Bachelor of Science. I enjoyed it, but I transferred to Medicine after one year. I’ll avoid mentioning the institution for now, because I have got in trouble over mentioning too much before, but it will probably end up coming up in the main posts anyway.

Madrasah/Satuday School

I use the word ‘Madrasah’ to describe an Islamic saturday school that I attended from 2001. It is run by the Young Muslims of Australia (YMA) who also run the biannual national youth camps. I no longer attend the classes physically as I usually reside interstate but they do broadcast the classes online at ymatv.com. They also run a Sunday school where I used to help out before I moved.

MWC
Mary White College, the on-campus student hostel where I stayed during the 2008 and 2009 academic years. I lived in block 5 most of the time, whichwas an alcohol free block. Most of my friends were block 5 2009 so I sometimes refer to this group as block 5.
